Circusoc has two upcoming shows this year; Romeo and Juliet, and Madame Mercury’s Marvellous Menagerie.
Romeo and Juliet
Tickets to Nadia and Chris’ upcoming show Romeo and Juliet can now be bought online.
Portraying a modern twist on the classic tragic love story, R&J brings Shakespeare’s tragedy into the present, touching on issues that spark debate today. Juliet struggles with conforming to the norms of society and the wants of her parents; the Friar makes a choice between what is morally right and what is ‘good’ for society; and the Prince struggles to maintain the peace in a community overrun with ignorance and hate.
